Sandra Swofford - Online Memorial Website

Decatur– Sandra K. Swofford, 60, of Decatur passed away in her residence on Tuesday July 13, 2010 at 6:40 p.m.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday July 16, 2010 at the Elwin United Methodist Church.  Burial will be in the Mt. Zion Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. till service time at the church.  Dawson & Wikoff Funeral Home, Mt. Zion will be assisting the family with services.

Sandra was born August 4, 1949 in Washington, IN the daughter of Leo E. and Doris Jean (Stanley) Warren.  She married Ronald Swofford on April 7, 1973.  She retired as the manager of Haines & Essick/Striglos Companies after forty-three years of service.  She was a member of the Elwin United Methodist Church.

Surviving is her husband Ron of Decatur; daughter: Shawna Kay Hubner and her husband Dennis of rural Assumption; grandchildren: Ariel Kapper, Lauren Kapper, Tyler Kapper, and Kaylee Hubner all of rural Assumption;

Sister: Susan Stewart and her husband Mike of Mt. Zion.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
